During the night of August 19-20, at around 1:40 a.m., emergency services responded to the motorhome parking area in Saint-Nizier-le-Désert (Ain), where a 68-year-old man died from a sudden illness despite resuscitation attempts. The circumstances of the incident are not yet known. The parking area, opened on July 11, has 23 spaces and is located between Lyon and Bourg-en-Bresse.

A 68-year-old man died on the night of Wednesday to Thursday at the motorhome parking area in Saint-Nizier-le-Désert, in the Dombes region. Firefighters arrived around 1:40 a.m. and attempted resuscitation, but the man could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances of the incident are not yet known. The parking area, located at La Nizière and featuring 23 spaces, had been inaugurated on July 11.
