Citroen has launched in Japan the limited edition Berlingo Sable, with 500 units, featuring the popular Sable (sand) color. In Katsushika, Tokyo, a home with a camper garage has been completed. The 53.17 sq m building is certified as long-lasting housing with top energy efficiency.

On August 20, Iijima town held a course on using vehicles for overnight stays during evacuation. The lecture was given by Katsuhiko Yamamoto, a professor at Nihon Fukushi University who supports disaster-affected areas. 39 people participated, including town and social welfare council staff and local disaster prevention experts. Participants discussed how to manage daily life in extraordinary circumstances and considered vehicle sleeping as one option. A practical exercise is planned for November 7-8 at Senzuka Park Campground.
