Citroen Berlingo Sable: limited edition with classic color and camping kit

Citroen has launched in Japan the limited edition Berlingo Sable, with 500 units, featuring the popular Sable (sand) color. Available in Max/Max XTR (short wheelbase, 5 seats) and Long Max/Long Max XTR (long wheelbase, 7 seats). Local price ranges from 4.67 to 4.992 million yen. The company also introduced the Agre Storage & Bed Kit, which converts the vehicle into a camper with a fold-out bed for two adults.

Iijima holds disaster prevention course on sleeping in vehicles

On August 20, Iijima town held a course on using vehicles for overnight stays during evacuation. The lecture was given by Katsuhiko Yamamoto, a professor at Nihon Fukushi University who supports disaster-affected areas. 39 people participated, including town and social welfare council staff and local disaster prevention experts. Participants discussed how to manage daily life in extraordinary circumstances and considered vehicle sleeping as one option. A practical exercise is planned for November 7-8 at Senzuka Park Campground.
