The initiative aims to integrate the city into the national motorhome route, with authorities expecting it to strengthen the local economy through visitor spending at supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, gas stations, and pharmacies.
A pasta trailer on Avenida Marcos Konder in Itajaí was burgled for the second time in 10 days. Businessman David Araújo, who lost R$ 4,000 in the first break-in, had installed cameras for R$ 1,000. The thief broke three reinforced padlocks in four minutes, found nothing valuable, and stole only an aluminium ladder.

On July 1, about 20 motorhomes from various Brazilian regions will arrive in Rancho Alegre do Oeste (Paraná) as part of the Circuito Caminhos do Paraná project. The event runs from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Events Center, with free admission. Visitors can tour the motorhomes and enjoy cultural performances, a fair, and food trucks.
