The Jung-gu Public Health Center in Ulsan has installed equipment for daily mosquito monitoring at five sites, including three auto-campsites: Daehwayeon, Iphwasan, and Hwanbangsan.

The devices attract female mosquitoes using carbon dioxide, count them with infrared sensors, and transmit data to a digital system. The project is implemented under the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency's "Evidence-Based Vector Control 2026" program with a budget of 32 million won.
