How to read the plate
The Equatorial Guinean plate follows the Spanish pattern: two letters for the province, three digits and a series letter, separated by dashes (LT-557-G, where LT is Litoral). Province codes: AN Annobón, BN Bioko Norte, BS Bioko Sur, CS Centro Sur, KN Kié-Ntem, LT Litoral, WN Wele-Nzas. On the left are the CEMAC emblem and the letters GE; officially that code belongs to Georgia and the country uses it unofficially.

The CEMAC design has been used since about 2009. No code has been found for Djibloho province (created in 2017), and no information on earlier numbering systems could be gathered.
