Towing mirrors

Towing United Kingdom Europe

Towing mirrors, caravan towing mirrors, clip-on towing mirrors, extending towing mirrors, mirror extenders, Milenco towing mirrors

Towing mirrors are removable clip-on or replacement extending mirrors that widen a tow vehicle's standard side mirrors so the driver can see beyond the width of a caravan or trailer. Mandatory by UK law and recommended across Europe.

Two formats: clip-on (Milenco Aero, $40–80) that strap to the standard mirror; and extending mirrors (Lampa, Emuk) that swap in for the OEM mirror cap. UK regulations require enough rearward view to see 4 m either side of the trailer at 20 m behind. They add significant aerodynamic drag, so remove them when driving without the trailer. Heated mirrors with indicators cost €150–300.
