A back-in site is an RV park or campground space the rig has to reverse into. Typically cheaper and a bit shorter than a pull-through, but it asks for confident maneuvering and a quick walk-around to check for low branches, stakes, or hidden hazards behind the rig.
Tips that help: line up the approach from the far side (driver-side back-in), use a spotter for the corners, and keep the front wheels straight until you start the turn. Many back-in sites are oriented door-to-patio, which is great for hanging out but less convenient for an early-morning departure. Usually $5–15/night cheaper than a pull-through in private parks.
