Água servida — grey water (Brazil)

Water System Brazil Latin America

Água servida, grey water Brazil, motorhome grey water Brazil, dishwater motorhome Brazil

Água servida is the Brazilian colloquial and technical term for grey water — the wastewater from the motorhome sink and shower, collected in the grey tank. Distinct from água negra (toilet waste).

Typical tank capacity: 80–120 L. Dump at PPD, camping de apoio, or an approved sewer drain. Dumping on the ground or in the street is banned by environmental law (Lei 9.605/98). Best practice: use biodegradable detergent and a separator drain. Drain every 2–4 days in active use.
