From September 10 to 12, 2026, dealer Libertium Rennes will hold open days featuring 2027 novelties in motorhomes, campervans and vans. Visitors can explore a wide range of vehicles and benefit from exclusive advantages. Additionally, the Adria brand has joined Libertium Rennes, offering models known for quality, comfort and design. The event takes place at ZA Beauséjour, 35520 La Mézière.

Correspondent Michel Letraveler visited La Mercerie Castle in Charente and shared details of the visit, including the construction history, architectural features, and practical information for motorhome visitors. The castle, begun in the late 19th century and extended in the 20th, was never completed due to lack of funds. It is now open for visits, with adult admission at €12. Overnight parking for motorhomes is allowed, but no service facilities are available.

On September 7 at around 2:30 p.m., a fire broke out along the road des Taillades in Le Thor. The blaze burned 3,000 square meters of scrubland, two caravans, and one motorhome, according to the Vaucluse fire and rescue service, which deployed seven vehicles and 23 firefighters. The cause of the fire has not been officially determined. Six people suffered significant property damage and are being assisted by the local municipality.
