Late Saturday night in Gingelom, Belgium, three friends rescued a 75-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman from a burning VW camper. The woman was trapped in a partially scorched sleeping bag. The fire started around 11:15 PM, likely due to a faulty diesel heater installed under the bed. Fire extinguishers on site allowed the fire to be contained before firefighters arrived.

Wallonia, the southern region of Belgium, has introduced a six-day itinerary for motorhome travel.
