Swift Group has unveiled the updated Monza 2026, based on the Ford Transit Custom. The motorhome features a pop-up roof with a double bed, a kitchen unit with a 42-liter fridge and a two-burner Dometic hob, and a portable toilet. Standard equipment includes a 240W solar panel, a 95Ah auxiliary battery, a 2.2kW diesel heater, and a 40-liter fresh water tank. It is powered by a 170 hp 2.0-liter EcoBlue diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Pricing in the UK starts at £75,490 (approximately $101,000). Official sales in the US are not planned.

David Warren from the Midlands drove 1,100 miles across four countries in a camper van he built from a Fiat Doblo bought at auction for £925. The 72-hour trip included a lap of the Nürburgring racetrack in Germany. Warren has raised over £6,000 for the NSPCC, aiming to reach £10,000.

The Scottish Hospitality Awards 2026, held on June 17 in Glasgow, named winners in several categories. Avon and Somerset Police arrested a third suspect, a man in his 20s, on 18 June over an arson attack in Glastonbury on 13 June. The fire destroyed three caravans and severely damaged a Tesco supermarket; no injuries were reported.

A planning inspector dismissed Wayne Griggs' appeal, ruling his actions unreasonable. He must remove caravans, hardstanding, and other items from a site in Dibden within nine months. The inspector also partially awarded costs against Griggs. The New Forest National Park Authority stated his actions caused unnecessary time and expense.

In the UK, a suspect wanted for stealing a motorhome attempted to evade police by somersaulting off a bridge. The acrobatic move failed, and he was apprehended. The incident was captured on video.
