Kansas authorities released information about an explosion that killed one person. The incident occurred in a camper parked in the county. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
Hernán Romero, an Argentine living in New York, rented a motorhome, decorated it in the colors of the Albiceleste, and drove to Kansas City to support the national team during the tournament. The suspect was found with drugs and faces charges including fleeing police, reckless driving, and DUI.

In Wamac, Illinois, around 3:15 a.m. Thursday, a camper was fully engulfed in flames, and the fire spread to an adjacent mobile home. Centralia Fire Department and Fire Protection District firefighters responded to the call. Initial reports indicated a person might be trapped inside the mobile home, but Wamac Police, first on scene, confirmed all occupants were accounted for. Odin and Sandoval crews stood by at the Centralia Fire Protection District station in case of another fire.
