Pennant Park Resort has been acquired by Arden Parks for an undisclosed sum. The 45-hectare holiday park features 72 lodge pitches, an 18-hole golf course, and a refurbished clubhouse. The seller was Wayfind Escapes Ltd, and the buyer plans to add 18 more pitches, leveraging existing infrastructure and planning permissions.
A defective railway bridge at Sandylands Holiday Park in Saltcoats, Scotland, will be removed starting June 12, with completion expected by June 16. Operator Parkdean Resorts cited the bridge's end of life as the reason for demolition. The bridge had been closed since July 2021, leading caravan owners to label it a 'bridge to nowhere.' No decision has been made on a replacement; guests can access the beach via a short walk or free shuttle bus.

A temporary campervan site has been approved for the Victorious Festival in Southsea. The site at Thirty Two Acres, Eastern Road, Portsmouth, will operate from August 20 to September 4, offering parking and camping facilities. The festival runs from August 28 to 30 at Southsea Common and Castle Field. Standalone gas cooking or heating appliances are prohibited in caravans and trailer tents; parking is not included in camping tickets.
