A fire in Devonport, Plymouth, on the night of May 30 completely destroyed a campervan and severely damaged another vehicle. Two adjacent flats also sustained light fire damage. Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service has handed the case to police, as the blaze is suspected to have been caused by arson.

Around 15 caravans and motorhomes occupied the Burgess Hill Cricket Club's pitch in Clayton. The club appealed on social media, and the University of Brighton provided an alternative venue. The match went ahead, but pitch recovery will take weeks.

In Abbots Bromley (Staffordshire), a shortage of firefighters delayed the response to a campervan fire. The nearest crew from Uttoxeter, about 6.5 miles away, had to attend. The fire service is actively recruiting on-call firefighters in the area.

Caravan owners at Stowford Farm Meadows near Combe Martin were without water for days during record-breaking May temperatures. The supply failed on Sunday morning, leaving hundreds unable to drink, shower, or flush toilets. Static caravan owner Jasmine Jones criticized the park for expanding from 40 to 250 caravans without upgrading infrastructure. South West Water found no issues with its network, and Park Holidays UK did not respond to a request for comment.
