Parking areas for motorhomes and caravans have been established at the Yoncalı and Ilıca thermal centers in Turkey's Kütahya province. The Yoncalı site covers 1,230 square meters and accommodates 11 motorhomes, while Ilıca has a 2,000-square-meter area for 14 vehicles. Both locations provide toilets and electrical hookups; Yoncalı also has a security point, panel fencing, and a disabled-access toilet. The number of motorhomes and caravans in Bozüyük is increasing due to high hotel prices.

Karaot Beach in Fethiye, known for its natural beauty, has recently seen an increase in motorhome density. Numerous motorhomes are reported to be staying long-term around the beach, turning the area into a de facto motorhome parking lot. Local residents and beachgoers say the concentration of motorhomes negatively affects the environment and use of the area, and are calling for inspections. Measures are expected to protect the natural structure and ensure environmental order.

At Caravan Salon 2026, the Carpento 430 D was displayed in Retro Grey. It is the largest model in Carpento's new C series, aimed at families of four to five. The interior includes a bathroom with cassette toilet and shower tray, a kitchen with refrigerator, and up to five berths. The base price for the 430 S is €24,990, with the D version adding €499 for overhead cabinets instead of an upper bed. However, the standard equipment lacks a hob, heating, and a powerful battery, and mandatory transport and registration fees add €1,990.

Turkish manufacturer Yıldız Karavan, which has produced caravans and motorhomes for about 18 years, has combined production and after-sales service at its technical center in Lüleburgaz. According to IMARC Group, the global caravan and motorhome market reached $65.4 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to $115.3 billion by 2034, with a CAGR of 6.31% from 2026 to 2034. Europe had over 6.3 million caravans and motorhomes registered at the end of 2022, up from 5.2 million five years earlier. CIVD data show that in 2025, more than 215,000 new caravans and motorhomes were registered in Europe, including about 161,000 motorhomes, up 0.6% year-on-year; Germany led with over 94,000 registrations, while motorhome registrations rose 10.7% in Italy and 19.1% in the Netherlands. The company aims to expand into the European market.

German tourists traveling in motorhomes from Germany to Turkey camped around Lakes Meke and Acıgöl in the Karapınar district of Konya. Daniel Brau said they entered Turkey about 6 weeks ago and will leave the country about 6 weeks later. After visiting Niğde and Cappadocia, the tourists described the lakes as a pleasant change. Two local teenagers offered them gözleme.

Sümeyra Aydın Kasap and Özgür Yiğit Kasap from İzmir began living full-time in a motorhome after Özgür had a bicycle accident that broke his jaw. They spent about a year preparing the motorhome for full-time living, installing a powerful electrical system and heating. They estimate a similar motorhome with modifications would cost around 1,600,000–1,700,000 Turkish lira today. The couple said rent costs disappeared after the move, but fuel, maintenance, insurance, water and electricity expenses remain.
