A car and a motorhome collided on the A2 near Mezzovico yesterday, injuring seven. The car driver is in critical condition. The owners' cat Nino fled the scene and is being sought online.
On Saturday, on the A2 motorway near Mezzovico, a car collided with a motorhome, injuring seven people, two seriously. The cat Nino, traveling with a Spanish family in the motorhome, was thrown from the vehicle upon impact and has been missing since. Local residents searched for the cat until late at night without success. The family, hospitalized, has appealed to the public for help.
On Saturday, a car rear-ended a Spanish camper on the A2 near Mezzovico-Vira. Seven people were injured, one critically. The cat Nino was thrown from the vehicle and is missing; locals are searching.

On Saturday, a rear-end collision between a car and a motorhome on the A2 motorway near Mezzovico in Ticino injured seven people. The 49-year-old driver of the car, a Kosovar resident of the canton of Aargau, suffered life-threatening injuries. The 50-year-old driver of the motorhome, a Spanish national, was seriously injured. The other five occupants of the two vehicles sustained minor injuries. Traffic in the direction of the Gotthard was partially closed, with a queue of up to 17 kilometers.
