Russia has 32,200 motorhome owners, with caravanning growing by 2,500 families annually. A new Russian-made motorhome costs from 4.5–5 million rubles, rental from 20,000 rubles per day. The segment's development is hindered by a lack of campsites: only 464 equipped sites exist nationwide.
In 2026, the Volvo FMX 6×6 motorhome debuted on the Russian market, built on a modified chassis for off-road use. It features electric winches front and rear, Aurora LED lighting, an additional heated fuel tank, and enhanced cabin insulation. The living module includes a living room, bedroom, kitchen with appliances, bathroom with shower and hammam, and two 400-liter water tanks. Power comes from lithium batteries, a solar panel, diesel generator, and inverters, enabling long-term autonomous living.

A lightweight trailer named 'Tourist' weighing from 480 kg has entered the Russian market, designed for towing by cars with at least 80 hp. The model features three sleeping berths, a kitchen area, and moisture-resistant sandwich panel construction. The base version starts at 380,000 rubles, with an online configurator for optional extras (solar panel, heating, refrigerator). The trailer complies with category B license requirements; carrying people inside while moving is prohibited.
