In São Martinho do Porto, in the green heart of Serra dos Mangues, lies the Colina do Sol campsite. It covers about nine hectares and offers two swimming pools, a water area with slides, mini-golf, sports courts, children's clubs, and entertainment programs. There are about 200 pitches for tents, as well as equipped cottages and furnished tents. The beach of São Martinho do Porto is two kilometers away, with Nazaré and Óbidos nearby.

Motorcyclist, 25, dies in Coruche after collision with motorhome

A 25-year-old motorcyclist died on the morning of Sunday, August 9, after colliding with a motorhome on National Road 114 in Caneira, Coruche. The alert was raised at 09:40, and an INEM helicopter was dispatched, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the VMER medical team. The motorhome occupants were unharmed. The road was closed for several hours, and 20 emergency personnel, including firefighters, VMER, INEM, and GNR, were involved. The GNR's NICAV is investigating the cause.
