On the evening of June 5, 2026, a fire broke out in a caravan in the Tabrbour area (Amman) due to a gas leak from a cylinder. The fire was accompanied by a bang but was extinguished. No injuries, only material damage. An investigation has been launched.

Jordan's Ministry of Health has provided five medical caravans to expand coronavirus testing in remote areas of Tafilah Governorate. The caravans are equipped with laboratory and medical supplies and deployed across five comprehensive and subsidiary health centers. The initiative aims to facilitate sample collection and result delivery for residents and limit the virus's spread.
