A Czech enthusiast named Samuel uses his BMW E46, converted in Alpina style, for long road trips across Europe. The car is equipped with a roof tent and has covered over 100,000 km through countries including Albania, Romania, Greece, and Italy. The vehicle is not an original Alpina but underwent a full body restoration, 18-inch Alpina wheels, and mechanical upgrades for reliability. The story highlights that a modern motorhome or camper van is not necessary for travel.

The camp in Strážnice (South Moravia) has more than 300 caravan pitches, allowing guests to arrive without a reservation, unlike many other camps. Operators report growing demand for caravanning since the COVID-19 pandemic and are adapting infrastructure: adding electricity, Wi-Fi, grey water disposal, and planning larger, more luxurious pitches with water supply. A rare Karosa W 4 Dingo caravan from 1961 has been put up for sale. Fewer than 50 units of this model were produced. The caravan features a low weight of about 400 kg thanks to its fiberglass body and compact dimensions (length 3750 mm). The unit with serial number 004 is priced at 300,000 CZK.
