Morocco → Japan: visa and length of stay
→
How many days can you stay in Japan?
Short answer
Stated in the visa
The visa itself sets the length of stay, so a day counter does not apply here. Check the term written in your visa or entry permit.

Worth knowing about the route
- In Japan you may drive only with an International Driving Permit under the 1949 Geneva Convention, or with a licence from Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan, Estonia and a few others together with an official JAF translation. IDPs issued under the 1968 Vienna Convention (e.g. Russian ones) are not valid in Japan — you cannot rent or drive on them.

Length-of-stay rules come from several sources. Some are verified by the OpenVan.camp Editorial team against official sources and show a verification date. The rest are extracted from open sources, most often Wikipedia, and are shown with a source link and the date they were retrieved. Vehicle import rules are shown only once verified. The underlying visa requirement matrix is the passport-index-data dataset (MIT licence), updated 17 February 2026.
