Oman's consumer protection authority in Barka, with the public prosecutor, temporarily closed a caravan manufacturer after consumer complaints about unfulfilled contractual obligations.
In Nizwa, the capital of the Ad Dakhiliyah Governorate, young entrepreneur Al-Mohannad Bin Hussam Al-Ismaili converted a bus into a fully functional caravan. The construction took one and a half months and saved approximately 8,000 Omani rials compared to buying a ready-made caravan. Al-Ismaili did all the work himself, including electrical, plumbing, and finishing, and inscribed "Nizwa Manufacturing" on the caravan as a mark of pride in Omani craftsmanship.
Makla Bar Beach (White Beach) in the Fans area of Qurayyat province (Muscat Governorate) is a popular destination for tourists and camping enthusiasts. It is located 135 km from Amrat province and 50 km from Sur province. According to local resident Mohammed bin Ali al-Ghadani, the beach served as a shelter for fishing boats and cargo ships during storms in the Gulf of Oman.
