Wet weight is the actual mass of an RV or trailer with full fresh-water, fuel, and propane tanks plus standard outfitting, but without passengers and personal cargo. A realistic starting point for trip-day weight planning.
Differs from dry weight by the mass of fluids on board: 100 L of water = +100 kg, a full 80 L diesel tank ≈ +67 kg, a full 11 kg propane bottle ≈ +20 kg. The gap between wet weight and GVWR is your real payload for cargo and passengers. Many European 3.5-tonne Ducato-based motorhomes leave only 200–400 kg of usable margin.
