Gas & Heating Germany & Austria Europe

Truma Combi 4, Truma Combi 6, Combi 4E, Combi 6E, Combi D, Combi D 6, Truma combination heater, all-in-one heater

The Truma Combi is a range of combination heaters for motorhomes that heat both the living area and water in one compact appliance.

Gas Combi 4/6 models run on propane/butane; Combi 4 E/6 E add 230V electric heating elements and mixed mode; diesel Combi D 6/D 6 E models use diesel while still heating both air and water. Standard Combi water capacity is 10 litres.

FAQ

How do I diagnose a Truma Combi that won't start?

Common causes: 1) No gas — cylinder empty or valve closed. 2) No 12V power — check the 10A habitation fuse. 3) Error code on Truma CP Plus or iNet Box panel — note the code and look it up in the Truma manual. 4) Flue blocked by insects or debris (common after storage — a spider web in the flue is very frequent). 5) Incorrect gas pressure — the regulator may need replacement.

Can the Truma Combi E run on electricity only at a campsite?

Yes — the Combi 4E and 6E have a 900 W electric heating element that runs on 230V shore power independently of gas, heating both the living area and water. In mixed mode, gas and electricity work simultaneously for faster warm-up. A 6A hookup (1,380 W) is sufficient to run the electric element, leaving some headroom for other appliances.
