A low-profile motorhome is a semi-integrated coachbuilt motorhome with a low aerodynamic cap above the cab, usually without a permanent overcab bed.
Low-profile models are lower and more fuel-efficient than alcove motorhomes. If there is a large projecting bed above the cab, it is an alcove motorhome; in North America that body style is usually called Class C.
