Camper With Cattail Paintings Reported Stolen in Cumberland County

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a distinctive camper reported missing from Lantana Drive. According to an incident report filed by Deputy Jason Powers, a female victim reported that her tan bumper-pull camper, noted for having cattails painted on the side, was taken over the weekend. Neighbors reported seeing the vehicle leave the property on either Saturday or Sunday evening, August 15 or 16, 2026. The victim told deputies that her son, who had been staying in the camper, allegedly attempted to sell it without her permission. Authorities say it remains unclear who physically removed the camper. At the time of the report, the victim could not provide paperwork or serial numbers, so deputies advised her to contact the office once she locates the title to enter the camper into the NCIC database.
