A groundbreaking ceremony for Waypoint RV Preserve, a nature-inspired resort for RV travelers, is scheduled for Sept. 8 at 11010 U.S. 41 N. in Palmetto, Manatee County, Florida. The project by South Swell Properties LLC will include 170 RV sites on a 53-acre property.

Lakeview Pointe Property Group announced plans to develop a luxury RV resort and single-family condo community on Lake Barkley in Kentucky. The community, set 50 feet above the shoreline, will feature 60 RV lots, with 15 premium sites directly above the lake suitable for chalet-style additions and 11 lots accommodating private casitas. The lots will be available for rent on a short-term or long-term basis.

Campspot, a booking platform for RV parks and campgrounds, has launched its Fall Sale running Sept. 7–13, offering discounts up to 40% at participating locations across North America with code CAMPFALL26. The sale coincides with a trend of extended camping seasons, as 77% of surveyed campers extend summer into September and 58% into October. Featured deals include savings at parks in Colorado, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Arizona.
