A lightweight trailer named 'Tourist' weighing from 480 kg has entered the Russian market, designed for towing by cars with at least 80 hp. The model features three sleeping berths, a kitchen area, and moisture-resistant sandwich panel construction. The base version starts at 380,000 rubles, with an online configurator for optional extras (solar panel, heating, refrigerator). The trailer complies with category B license requirements; carrying people inside while moving is prohibited.
A compact Maxus V90 motorhome, model year 2023 with 12,000 km mileage, is now available on the Russian market. The turnkey price is 3,587,000 rubles. The vehicle features a 2.0T diesel engine (147 hp), automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. The living area includes a dining set, refrigerator, induction hob, microwave, air conditioner, diesel heater, and water heater. Autonomy is supported by a 12V 800 Ah lithium-ion battery, a 400 W solar panel, and a 3000 W inverter. Water tanks hold 150 L fresh, 80 L gray, and 18 L black water. The slide-out bathroom has a cassette toilet and shower. The sleeping area is a transverse bed measuring 1800×1380 mm. External equipment includes an awning, mosquito net, electric step, foldable table, and outdoor diesel stove.
Sollers Group has started production of the SF5 model at its Yelabuga plant. The vehicle is available in several configurations, including the Verso motorhome with a living module, solar panels, and an inverter. It features a 150 hp diesel engine and an automatic transmission, a first in its class. Sales are expected in Q3 2025; prices are not yet announced.
The Chinese camper van Xingyu Dongfeng Xiaokang 2026 has entered the Russian market at 3.509 million rubles. This Class B model seats six and features a 2.0L petrol engine (143 hp), a 400 Ah lithium battery, and 400 W solar panels.
A family from Ulan-Ude is raising six sons and traveling across Russia in a motorhome. They converted a minibus for living, have traveled over 55,000 kilometers, and visited many regions. Older children help with driving and household chores, while younger ones study remotely. The family plans to continue traveling and visit Kamchatka.
The 'Beyond the Horizon' forum for road travelers took place in the Voronezh region, featuring an exhibition of motorhomes and expedition equipment. Exhibits included camper vans, roof tents, and fully equipped motorhomes with shower, toilet, and kitchen. One displayed motorhome was priced at over 4 million rubles.
