A planning application has been submitted to Mayo County Council for a caravan park with 61 mobile home pitches and 20 campervan spaces on Achill Island, at Keel, on a 16-acre site.

The cost was 40 euros per night. She highlighted the convenience of the modern campervan, including a shower, toilet, and bed, as well as the chance to disconnect from digital devices due to weak Wi-Fi signal.
