Challenger has introduced the new Sport Edition line for its Citroën-based campers. The V 114 model, 5.99 m long, features a transformable bathroom with a pivoting wall that enlarges the shower area. Price starts at €51,490. The series also includes five other floorplans, including the V210 with a garage for two bicycles.
Three-time world touring car champion Andy Priaulx revealed his family sold their house and moved into a caravan to finance his racing. His son Sebastian now drives for Ford in endurance racing.
On July 11, the 10th Camping-Car Park motorhome service area in the Ain department was inaugurated in Saint-Nizier-le-Désert. The facility has 23 pitches and cost the municipality €50,000 for construction plus €50,000 over five years for maintenance. Chausson unveiled the Odyssée 4000, its first camper van, launched in 1980. The vehicle, under 5 meters long, featured two dinettes, a kitchen, and a shower. The manufacturer later bought it to preserve its heritage and displayed it alongside 2027 models.
