Motorhome overturns on A20 highway in France

On the evening of February 2, on the A20 motorway in Laburgade, a motorhome driver lost control and the vehicle overturned onto its side. The incident occurred around 7:30 PM at kilometer 367. The motorhome fell onto the emergency lane, preventing more serious consequences. Two occupants were uninjured; ten firefighters from Cahors, along with gendarmes and patrol officers, responded. Traffic on the highway was not interrupted.

Beaune-Challanges airfield closed after installation of numerous caravans

A large group of travellers set up numerous caravans at Beaune-Challanges airfield on Sunday afternoon. The runway was immediately closed, severely disrupting local aviation. Authorities arrived on site, and the gendarmerie is conducting inspections using a drone. The Camping-Cars Park network and the municipality of Larmor-Plage (Morbihan) have announced the opening of a motorhome parking area. It has been accessible since May 6, 2026. The 20-space site is located on Rue de Quéhello, in the heart of the seaside resort. The Camping-Cars Park network, which operates 800 sites across Europe, states that users spend an average of €56, of which €44 goes to local businesses, while the network pays €16 million to partner municipalities, generating €176 million in economic impact.
