In Viedma, a motorhome parked at the corner of Guido and Gallardo streets has been obstructing pedestrians' view of oncoming traffic, prompting complaints from residents. The city's traffic director, Osvaldo Pereyra, said the vehicle will be towed once administrative procedures are completed. The motorhome has accumulated about five unpaid fines.
From October 8-15, Los Alerces National Park (Argentina) will host an RV gathering with about 250 vehicles from five countries, cultural events, and camping at Los Maitenes.
Sergio and Valeria from Buenos Aires visited Esquina in Corrientes for the fifth time in their Sprinter-based motorhome. They have been traveling since 2020, stopping for fishing and nature. The motorhome includes a bedroom, kitchen, heating, and air conditioning. The couple plans to stay in the region for about a week.
From August 14-17, Realicó (La Pampa) will host the second meeting of motorhome owners. Over 200 vehicles from 15 provinces, including Buenos Aires and Patagonia, are expected.
A draft ordinance in Paraná's Deliberative Council aims to regulate tourism in RVs, motorhomes, campers, and travel trailers. The plan includes designating public areas for camping and overnight stays, equipping them with basic infrastructure (drinking water, electricity, toilets, showers, effluent treatment, waste management), and installing signage. Proposed camping sites include Camping Toma Nueva, the Botanical Park, and Nuevo Humberto Cayetano Varisco Park; overnight areas include Monumento a Urquiza, Plaza Mujeres Entrerrianas, Balneario Thompson, and Parque Urquiza. Users must register in advance, prove vehicle safety compliance, and pay a usage fee via the Mi Paraná app. Maximum stay is 7 business days in camping areas (one extension allowed) and 3 business days in overnight areas (one extension allowed). Violations may result in fines and vehicle removal.
From September 25 to 27, the first motorhome gathering will take place at the Prof. Daniel Heidenreich Municipal Sports Center. The event includes tejo and newcom tournaments with prizes, plus recreational activities for all ages. Registration costs 35,000 Argentine pesos per motorhome, payable by bank transfer or at the municipal treasury office.
