Travelers say staying there is cheaper than at the nearby Costa Sur complex in Posadas, where they previously stopped. The beach offers a sanitary block, lighting and police patrols, but the area is neglected: sand is overgrown with grass and some thatched roofs were destroyed by storms.
The fifth Expo Rodantear, focused on motorhomes, caravans and travel equipment, will take place on 22–25 October 2026 in Tigre, Argentina, at the site at the intersection of Peru and Pedro Guareschi streets. The event is organised by AutocampingTV. In 2025 the exhibition drew over 19,000 visitors, up about 60% from more than 12,000 in 2024. It featured 11,600 square metres of exhibition space, 20 specialised talks, and AutocampingTV broadcasts accumulated over 30,000 views. Opening hours: 22–24 October from 12:00 to 20:00, 25 October from 10:00 to 18:00.
The Peruzzi family from General Roca, Argentina, continues a motorhome travel tradition started by their father Héctor, who bought the first shared caravan. Today, seven siblings, including Lisandro, use a motorhome for trips across Patagonia, northern Neuquén, and Europe. They share technical advice and keep their vehicles maintained. Lisandro plans to acquire a more off-road capable motorhome to cross high mountain passes and the Atacama Desert.
From 9 to 12 October, Esquel will host the 18th Meeting, Assembly and Gathering of the South American Motorhome Association (ASR). The event will bring together representatives from Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile and host country Argentina. Activities will be based at Los Alerces National Park, organised by the Argentine Motorhome Association (ARA), whose presidency is currently based in Chubut Province. Up to 250 participants and up to 200 recreational vehicles, including motorhomes and campers, are expected. The 2026 edition will be the first held in Chubut.

Expo RodanteAR, an exhibition dedicated to motorhomes, caravans and itinerant tourism, will take place on October 24 and 25 in the Tigre district. The event is organised by Marcelo Pistorio, creator of AutocampingTV and director of Expo RodanteAR, who has travelled in motorhomes for over 25 years and works to develop this form of tourism in Argentina. The exhibition aims to bring together vehicle manufacturers and service providers for motorhome travellers.
