Police in Bochum are searching for the driver of a white camper van who fled the scene of an accident. The incident occurred on April 24 at around 1:00 PM on Klosterstraße. A 41-year-old woman discovered damage to her parked car about 30 minutes later. Witnesses reported a white camper van with a large compass symbol on its left side parked nearby; the driver was a woman around 40 with light hair and a red sweater. Authorities ask witnesses to call 0234 909-5206.

The Garmin Camper 795 MT-D EU is a specialized navigation system for motorhomes and caravans. It warns about low bridges, height and weight restrictions, and environmental zones. In testing, the device correctly identified height limits in nine out of ten cases but occasionally made errors, such as declaring a campsite access road a no-go zone.
