California has tightened regulations for RVs and travel trailers abandoned on public streets. Vehicles valued at $4,000 or less that are not reclaimed by owners within 30 days are subject to seizure and destruction. The rule is in effect in Alameda and Los Angeles counties until January 1, 2030.
