Mobile Home Cheaper Than a Car, Priced at 340 Million Dong

A Chinese motorhome has attracted attention due to its unexpectedly low price, comparable to the cost of a Honda Vision scooter in the Vietnamese market. This has raised questions about the vehicle's quality and design.

The Multi-Purpose Habitation (MPH) module, developed by Thales Alenia Space, will be the first mobile habitation complex on the Moon. It is a 6-meter-long pressurized cylindrical compartment on wheels, capable of autonomous movement across the lunar surface. Its launch is planned for 2033 under the Artemis program, with a designed operational lifespan of 10 years.

When expanded, the side walls slide out, increasing the living space to accommodate up to four people. The product's commercialization is planned for the end of 2027 with an estimated price of 20,000 euros.

A family from Hanoi has been traveling across Vietnam for several years with a motorhome based on a pickup truck. They switched from tents to a motorhome in 2025 when such models became available in the country starting at 300 million dong. They believe this format could become a new tourism trend for families from 2026.
