Dakar Rally: Competitor's Camper Van Destroyed in Road Accident

A motorhome carrying four occupants caught fire and was completely burned out on the A-8 highway between Hoznayo and Anero in Cantabria. Firefighters from Santander extinguished the blaze with a tanker truck and six personnel, while the Civil Guard conducted an investigation. The incident occurred on Monday, with no injuries reported among the occupants.

A fire broke out in a camper van at Songpyeong Beach in Hwasan County on January 20. A man in his 60s suffered facial burns. The blaze was extinguished by a team of 25 firefighters and police officers, and the cause is under investigation.

A caravan became detached from its towing vehicle on a road. Police attended the scene and arranged for the trailer to be towed away to clear the carriageway.
