Motokaravan is the Turkish term for a motorhome — a self-propelled vehicle that combines the living area and the cab on a single chassis. Registered as M1 or M2 under the label «motorlu karavan» in Turkey.

Turkish builders: Akar Karavan, Tonkaravan, Karagüçlü. Imported brands: Hymer, Adria, Carthago, Knaus, Bürstner. Classification: M1 (up to 8 seats) or M2 (over 8). Purchase taxes: ÖTV plus VAT (rates vary and change annually) — consult an authorised dealer or customs agent for current figures. Motorway speed limit is 110 km/h; no separate motokaravan licence is needed — a category B licence is sufficient (up to 3,500 kg).
