Casilla rodante is the Río de la Plata name for a travel trailer: a habitable trailer towed by a car. The most popular form of rodante travel in Argentina and Uruguay because it is cheaper than a motorhome.
Industrial brands (Kanguro, Caravana Italia, Magni) and self-built units. Typical mass 600–1,500 kg. Towing requires Argentine class B or Uruguayan A2. Communities: Club Argentino de Casillas Rodantes. Not the same as a casa rodante, which in Argentina usually means a motorhome.
