California-based Exclusive Outfitters has introduced a motorhome built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 chassis, designed for extended off-grid use. The model features increased ground clearance, reinforced underbody protection, off-road wheels, a winch, roof rack, ladder, solar panels and a retractable awning. The interior includes a convertible lounge area, a kitchen with a stove, cabinet and refrigerator, plus a shower and toilet; finishes use wood and metal. Power is provided by an inverter, removable batteries and solar panels. The company offers several configuration options based on operating conditions and budget.
Papago Vans, a Mesa, Arizona-based company, has unveiled a custom camper van built on a 2024 AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 170-inch wheelbase. The vehicle features Black Rhino wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler all-terrain tires, a Van Compass Stage 4.3 suspension kit, a CAtuned front bumper with a Warn 12S winch, 400 W solar panels, and an 800 Ah SOK lithium battery bank with a 3,000 W inverter/charger. The interior includes a kitchen with a stainless steel sink and microwave, a bathroom with a shower and portable toilet, a queen-size bed, and a garage with two FVC pull-out trays rated for up to 500 lb (227 kg).
inTech RV has unveiled the 2027 Sol Eclipse travel trailer, featuring a completely redesigned interior while retaining its all-aluminum welded chassis and cage construction. The trailer measures 19 feet (5.8 meters) in length, 8.6 feet (2.6 meters) in width, and offers 6.6 feet (2 meters) of headroom. Dry weight ranges from 3,700 to 4,100 lbs (1,678 to 1,860 kg), with a maximum permissible weight of 4,800 lbs (2,177 kg). The floorplan is strictly for couples, with no third berth option. The Sandpoint City Council voted 4-2 to begin construction of a modified version of the City Beach RV Park renovation project this winter. The essential option will use roughly $270,000 of the construction budget and will not include a restroom and shower facility, which is delayed to a later date. The signature option, retaining the restroom and shower, would cost about $660,000 and delay construction for a year. The city plans to apply for additional grants in January to eventually build the restroom and shower facility.
