A Georgia owner of a 2025 Toyota Tundra reported highway sway while towing a large Grand Design Imagine travel trailer, despite using a mechanical equalizer hitch. Ford F-150: Towing 6,500-lb camper triggers limp mode in high-mileage EcoBoost engines
A Ford F-150 EcoBoost 2.7L V6 with 160,000 miles entered limp mode while towing a 6,500-lb Jayco camper. Three mechanics and a dealership found no fault after the P2099 code cleared when the ignition was cycled. The cause is condensation in the charge air cooler, which, during sudden acceleration on a grade, enters the combustion chambers, causing misfires and triggering a zero-boost limp mode.
Three campers burn in north Bismarck
Three campers caught fire in north Bismarck on Sunday afternoon, according to the Burleigh County Sheriff’s Department. The fire started around 4:15 p.m. The cause is not known. No injuries have been reported. 84th Avenue near Sage Drive was blocked in both directions following the fire. The road reopened around 5:45 p.m.

US company Rogue Van has introduced the Earth Roller motorhome, built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis and designed for wheelchair users. It features an AMF Bruns lift, reinforced handrails, and open-plan interior. Autonomy is provided by a 12 kWh battery, over 1000 W solar panels, and 151 liters of fresh water. Price is $425,000.
Ford Transit camper conversion costs more than the vehicle itself
Gone Mobile Vans charges $75,000–95,000 for a Ford Transit 2026 off-road conversion, on top of the base vehicle price of $59,180. Total cost starts at $134,000. The conversion includes a 50mm body lift, intercooler protection, adjustable shocks, all-terrain tires, external storage modules, and a body extension kit. Inside: 85L fridge, sink, foldable shower, toilet, heater, 91L fresh water tank, 60L grey water tank, and an EcoFlow power system storing 10 kWh with 3600W output. Only two 100W solar panels are installed, making solar a secondary source. The company did not disclose final price, curb weight, or remaining payload.
