Couple from Mainz travels Pan-American Highway for a year

Markus and Yasmine from Mainz set off on the Pan-American Highway in April last year. They have covered about 63,000 km, visiting the USA, Mexico, Central America, and reaching Panama. Due to inflation, travel costs exceed their budget, so they try to save money without sacrificing enjoyment, occasionally staying in hotels. Key challenges include lack of privacy in their camper van and homesickness for family and friends.

Toyota launches PROACE MAX Tanuki — the definitive camper version with two layouts

Toyota has introduced the PROACE MAX Tanuki, a fully equipped motorhome based on the PROACE MAX van, available in two lengths: 599 and 636 cm. It features a 2.2L diesel engine (140 or 180 hp), Toyota T-MATE driver assistance systems, and a living area with 20 mm insulation, bathroom, kitchen, 100 L fresh water tank, and 135 Ah lithium battery. Price is not yet confirmed, but orders are open; warranty is 3 years or 1 million km.
