Argentine couple Meli and Poti from Entre Ríos, along with their dogs Lua and Chuso, have been traveling across America since January 9, 2021, in a Sprinter van. Since March 2026, they have been in Ecuador, their eighth country, which they entered from Peru. They have visited Loja, Vilcabamba, Quito, Cuenca, Saraguro, Ingapirca, Guayaquil, Chordeleg, Ayampe, and the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve. They share their experiences on their YouTube channel 'Vida Movida por América', which has over 18,300 subscribers, as well as on TikTok and Instagram.
A retired couple from Uruguay, Silvia and Andrés, are traveling through South America in a motorhome they built themselves. They are currently in Manta, Ecuador, despite a negative experience with theft.

A Colombian couple is traveling by camper van from Bogotá to Ushuaia, funding the trip by working as a photographer for rental platforms. They departed in December 2024 and plan to cover approximately 8380 kilometers. The couple adapted a 4-meter-long van into a living space with minimal amenities.
Dutch national Sandro van Kuijck converted a Tesla Model X into a camper van and is driving from Alaska to Argentina. His goal is to reach Ushuaia, covering tens of thousands of kilometers through deserts and mountains. The main challenges are finding charging stations in South America and adapting to local power grids.
