Motorhome Rentals Become New Trend for Returning to Hometown

Demand for motorhome rentals in Malaysia has increased significantly ahead of the festive season. RV Life MY has expanded its fleet from 1 unit in 2022 to 126 units across three countries, with daily rental rates starting from 500 Malaysian ringgit. The company plans to expand operations to Sabah and Sarawak states.

Daihatsu Hijet converted into a compact motorhome

Japanese company Direct Cars has introduced two camper versions based on the Daihatsu Hijet. The Dune Rover model with Raptor protective coating and sleeping for four is equipped with a kitchen, refrigerator, and air conditioning, but lacks a toilet and shower. The more urban PLAT version features an aerodynamic body and an enlarged kitchen area. Both models use a 660 cc engine and are offered with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, with prices starting from ¥4.39 million.
