A control panel is the central monitor and control unit for a motorhome's onboard systems: fresh/grey/black tank levels, battery voltage and charge, lights and water pump on/off, and shore-power status. The main European brands are CBE, Schaudt, Sargent (UK), and Nordelettronica.

Modern panels (CBE PC380, Schaudt CT2000) offer a colour touch LCD and Bluetooth to a phone app. Older units rely on push buttons and an LED bar gauge. Usually fitted near the habitation door or above the kitchen sink. The entire 12 V system depends on it — when something glitches, check the panel before chasing individual appliances. Replacement: €200–1,500 depending on the generation.
