We factor in temperature, wind, sun and conditions by the sea.
The country score (0–100) is computed from all of its cities, not a single point. Cities are grouped into regions, and a region's score is the median of its cities so dense clusters don't outweigh sparse ones. Final score = 0.65 × “best areas” (80th percentile of regions) + 0.35 × “typical conditions” (median of regions), so one warm city can't push the whole country to 100. Each city's score blends warmth (feels-like), sun, rain and wind, adjusted for night temperature and, on the coast, the sea. Data: Open-Meteo, refreshed several times a day.
The scale above shows what share of the country's cities falls into each comfort band. “Best spot” is the most comfortable region or city this week; “typical conditions” is the median score across regions.

A resident of Mogilev, Evgeny, converted a 1987 RAF-2203 'Latvia' minibus into a camper. The vehicle features a high fiberglass roof, allowing installation of a kitchen module, toilet, and transformable interior. The conversion cost no more than $300. The owner uses the vehicle for festivals and trips across Belarus, but plans to eventually turn it into a replica of a Soviet ambulance.
The VanLife Belarus 2026 festival will take place on May 29–31 at the Isloch festival field in Volozhin district. The event gathers campervan and motorhome owners and travel enthusiasts. The program includes meetups, vehicle tours, workshops, and live music. Ticket prices and details will be announced later.

Herbert, who previously lived in Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia and Germany, converted a 12.5-meter Yutong bus into his permanent residence. The conversion cost €30,000, while the bus itself cost €200,000. The interior includes a bedroom, kitchen, shower, toilet, guest area and library. The bus retains its D-category status, allowing parking in city centers. Herbert plans to visit 193 countries.
