Workamping is the practice of trading a few hours of work per week to a specific RV park, campground, farm, Amazon warehouse (CamperForce), or public-lands campground in exchange for a free hookup site (and sometimes a wage).
Typical formats: 20–30 hours/week in exchange for site + utilities, or 30–40 hours plus minimum wage. Main niches: front-desk and check-in at RV parks, guest services (camp host), seasonal harvest gigs, sugar beet harvest (October–November in the Midwest), Amazon CamperForce (warehouse work, September–December). Search platforms: Workamper.com, CoolWorks, Workers on Wheels. Often combined with snowbird routes.
