Unserviced site, no-hookup site Canada, dry camping site Canada, basic campsite Canada, primitive site Canada
An unserviced site is a Canadian campsite with no hookups — no hydro, water, or sewer. The vehicle relies on its onboard batteries, tanks, and propane. Often the only option in remote provincial and national parks.
Pitch fees in provincial parks vary by province and season; check the relevant booking system before booking. Tap water and dump station are usually shared facilities elsewhere in the campground. Better for solar-equipped rigs and those comfortable boondocking. Random camping rules apply on Crown land (see crown-land and random-camping).
