Trailer crashes into house in Midori, Gunma

Japanese manufacturer Direct Cars unveiled three new models for active outdoor use at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026. The DN-75 motorhome, built on a Toyota Camroad chassis, features an aluminum body, four-wheel drive, and a 3.0-liter diesel engine, with a starting price of 13.98 million yen. The lineup also includes the compact Dune Rover motorhome based on a Daihatsu Hijet Truck from 5.83 million yen and the lightweight Nomadoa travel trailer under 750 kg from 2.69 million yen.

A YouTube channel featured a gathering of motorhomes at the former 'Setsugetsukaro' school in Kimobetsu, Hokkaido. The facility, converted into a campsite with a cafe, features a 90-meter-long wooden corridor. Participants of the event also visited the Niseko Goshiki hot springs.

An accident involving a motorhome and two trucks occurred on the morning of April 4 on the Chuo Expressway in Mizunami City. The motorhome overturned and two large trucks collided. The incident took place around 4:45 a.m.

Japanese company Direct Cars has introduced the compact motorhome Dune Rover based on the Daihatsu Hijet kei car. The model, under 3.4 meters long, features sleeping for four, kitchen facilities, and an autonomous power system. The base price starts at approximately 36,600 euros.
