Camp & Park Accounting launches RV park deal analyzer tool

Artemis II astronauts continued the tradition by using an Airstream motorhome for transport to the launchpad. NASA has employed specially modified motorhomes since the 1960s, starting with the front-wheel-drive, all-steel Clark Cortez. In 1983, the agency switched to an Airstream Excella model called the Astrovan, which had most living components removed to accommodate equipment.

The Cherokee Nation has opened the 100-acre Sallisaw Creek Park on the Robert S. Kerr Reservoir. The park features two RV campgrounds with 74 sites capable of accommodating rigs up to 60 feet long, plus five luxury cabins. The area is protected under the Cherokee Nation Park, Wildlands, Fishing and Hunting Preserve Act of 2021.

Indiana Governor Mike Braun will speak at the RV Industry Power Breakfast event in 2026. The event is scheduled for May 21 at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart; ticket sales at $80 per seat will open on April 6.

The Pleasant Valley RV Park in Howard, Colorado will reopen in May 2026 following a series of upgrades. The park features 56 full-hookup sites, two equipped Airstream trailers, and four riverfront tent sites, with new river access points to the Arkansas River added.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office has requested FBI assistance in a fraud investigation involving Carson Pass RV dealership. Investigators allege the dealership sold multiple RVs without notifying owners or completing DMV paperwork, with up to 80 victims identified and millions of dollars at stake.

The City of Lawton has extended the deadline for bids on 11 RV sites at Lake Lawtonka. Annual lease fees range from $4,238 to $5,146, and the sites are not suitable for permanent residence. Bids must be submitted to City Hall by April 17.
